Torworth Series TLI Road Race 29.04.10
John Smith contested a tight bunch sprint to place 3rd in this 24 mile North Midlands Road Race league event.  A short video of the finish can be seen here . 

Yorkshire 10 mile TT Champs - 3.05.10
It was all hands to the pump as the club promoted another Yorkshire Championship event on the Red Wall course made even more challenging by a stiff headwind home.  In addition to organising, a number of club members rode the event, Kirstie Hamilton, Nigel Goscinksi, Hugh Smith, Stephen Wood, Andrew Johnson and Doug Hart.

Kirstie won a bronze in the women's event whilst Doug did the same in the men's tieing with Andy Jackson (Team Swift Allsports).  Doug was then joined by Mike and Stephen to take silver in the team competition just 9 seconds behind gold medalists, Team Swift Allsports.

Pool Triangle 12.5m tt - 19.05.10
Doug Hart and RIchard Hamilton finished 1st and 2nd, both recording pb's in the process of 28.30 and 29.32 respectively.

Tadcaster Evening League 15m tt - 20.05.10
Andy Johnson placed 4th picking up valuable points for the league, with Hugh Smith, Wayne Clarke, Karen Glynn, Dean Clark and new member Matthew Street also riding.

North East Regional Road Race Champs - 23.05.10
Karl Denton showed a return to form after a nasty crash the previous month.  Karl managed to jump across and join a select lead group of a dozen or so riders who ended up contesting the finish well clear of the bunch.  Unfortunately a puncture shortly after the half way stage put paid to Karl's race.

Nutcracker MTB Series Round 2 - 23.05.10
Nick Butcher followed up his win in the first  round with another win in the Sport category.  Steve Wood was also in action having dusted off his MTB for the first time in a long while to place 15th in the Masters category.

N&DCA 25m tt - 23.05.10
Richard Cleathero had a great ride in this sporting 25 mile time trial on the M25/9 course.  Richard finished with 1.01.38 only a handful of seconds outside his lifetime pb set a lifteime ago!

Pool Triangle 12.5m tt - 26.05.10
Doug Hart recorded another pb on the Triangle course to record 28.25, placing 2nd behind Matt Howitt (Yorkshire Road Club), whilst Richard Hamilton recorded 30.26 for 3rd.

Tadcaster Evening League 10m tt - 27.05.10
A windy night on the Selby course saw YV place two riders in the top five with Hugh Smith 4th and John Woods 5th.

Holme Valley Wheelers 25m tt - 29.05.10
Hugh Smith continued his good form on a windy and deceptively chilly day to set a new pb of 56.18.  Mike Marshall recorded 53.53 for a top 10 finish in a competive field.
