YCF 30 - 23 August 2008
WIth a new faster course for this year based on the A19, PB's were hoped for and club records were threatened. Denise Shackleton was first back with 1:22:21 taking 20 seconds off Karen Glynn's 5 year old club record.  Denise's new record takes the club record tally with Karen to three each.  Will this be enough to tempt Karen into dusting off the race wheels next season?  Watch this space...

Next back to the HQ was Doug Hart recording 1:06:06 to take almost three minutes off his club record.  Doug's celebrations were only slightly muted when Mike Marshall came in eight minutes later with an excellent 1:04:41 to finish 6th in a top quality field.  Andy Waters had a great ride with 1:18:57, as evidenced by the award of 2nd place on handicap.

And of course not forgetting second claim member Andy Jackson (Pedalsport CC) who produced an eye watering 1:02:16 to finish second, only being beaten time trialling legend Michael Hutchinson.

Holme Valley Whs 25 - 30 August 2008
Denise was back in PB action the following week with a 2:11:55.  In a field that featured many of the mens BAR contenders Andy Jackson placed a superb third with a very impressive 1:43:42.
